Become Accepting To Improving Your Personal Life


Are you able to accept the things you can and cannot change? Do you have the ability to accept that other people have the choice to help you change, rather than you changing them? Can you accept that you are who you are, regardless of what other people think? Do you accept the many changes that take place in your life?

If your answer was yes to any of these questions, then your journey to improving your personal life has already begun. Being willing to accept enables you the ability to laugh, even when something is not funny. For example, if someone pushed you, you could stand back and laugh. The push is simply a threat to your emotion, which you will see, accept and find a way to gain control of the situation.

Becoming accepting of things in life, including yourself and others, you find a way to take control. Taking control helps you to see how you can improve your personal life. When you learn to accept you will learn to discover your true self.

Individuality is personal, which philosophers tend to over generalize. In today's world it is a common perception that when we act the same way at all times, we have established our identity. That statement is politically incorrect. We all possess emotions, thoughts, behaviors, actions, and have been plagued by a world of influences both good and bad. Every day brings forth something new, which causes our personality to reflect on these changes. Therefore, when you see someone laughing one minute and crying the next, you are seeing a shift in emotions, which is the normal pattern for that person. Unless the persons point of view changes, behaviors change dramatically, friends change regularly, and you are seeing accustomed behaviors.

Our world has caused us to become desensitized. We are constantly surrounded by many influences through television, the media, radio, inside the home, government, schools and so on. To each their own, however everyone is judging someone at some time, which we must learn to accept. It isn't possible for us to change these peoples behaviors or way of thinking, but we do have the ability to change our own. This is a part of learning and accepting. The best way to approach the world is become your own influence and allow other influences to make another one's life miserable. Rely only on sources that prove truthful with their behaviors, words, and actions. Reflections of positivity are the key to living happier.

Learning to become accepting of everything will make you eager to laugh. For example, if someone makes you mad you will be able to see the humor in that individuals actions. In return you may see the humor in your own actions if you make a mistake and feed into their foolishness.

Being able to see the humor in life is guaranteed to make you feel better inside. We are living in a chaotic world full of greedy people with envious souls. It is imperative to learn how to work around these people, accept our own fate, and move on. Upon learning to change to better yourself, other people may choose to follow your lead. Positive action has proven far more effective than just using words to encourage others to change their behaviors.

As you continue to grow you will feel a new thirst, and that thirst will be your guide to discovering new ways of self-improvement. As time goes on and you start to feel better, you will see a need to make changes in your life such as exercising, eating right, and being around positive influences. You will feel inspired to work hard to achieve your goals once you have felt this thirst.
